Most of the rest of this month is being spent on writing episodes of that which my newsletter readers know as PROJECT KRONSTADT. I assign codenames to the things I’m not allowed to talk about, so that I can talk about them in some capacity. The network is unlikely to announce it for several more months. The majority of work in film and tv, I’ve found, happens in silence for most of its course. I have seven projects active in film/tv right now, and only one of them was ever spoken of in public by the developing studio. On KRONSTADT, I suspect I’ll be entirely done on my end before anyone knows it even exists. It’s one of the stranger adjustments from comics, where in the past I’ve had projects announced before I’ve even started writing them.

It’s not as peaceful as writing a novel, of course. But the field of quiet in which one works in these fields has its own charm.
